Részletek...A family-owned business with around 100 employees is looking for a highly motivated individual to join their team as a Production Manager with a potential future role as Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will gradually take over the operational leadership of the company, allowing the current owners to step back.
Feladatok
o Manage and coordinate production, logistics, and shipping, each with its own department head.
o Daily planning of the operators for the injection molding machines and the assembly, monitoring and execution.
o Oversee daily problem-solving and ensure that employees are aligned and on task
o Ensure effective use of ERP systems for production planning, monitoring execution, and making adjustments in daily meetings.
o Lead and manage the digital transformation process across production, logistics, and delivery (in-depth IT knowledge is not required).
o Develop an understanding of production processes, including injection molding, press fittings, ultrasonic welding, and automated casting, to effectively manage operators and ensure correct staffing for machinery.
o Participate in training and feedback sessions to improve areas of performance.
Elvárások
o Technical background: A degree in engineering or equivalent technical training is ideal, with hands-on experience in production processes.
o Experience with injection molding is highly preferred.
o Leadership experience in managing teams or departments, ideally in a production environment.
o Familiarity with ERP systems is required; training on the company's system will be provided.
o Problem-solving attitude: You should be proactive, take responsibility for unfinished work, and remain committed until tasks are completed.
o Willingness to live in Germany, with the possibility of relocating your family.
o Fluency in German (both spoken and written) is required due to the communication-heavy nature of the role.
o A willingness to grow into the role of Operations Manager over time.
o An approach that prioritizes direct communication and feedback, fitting into the company's culture of long-term employees and trust.
o Capability to earn the respect of colleagues through strong work performance and leadership.

o The main work location is in Lahr, Germany, with plans for operations in Hungary and an existing factory in China.
o The company offers initial accommodations in shared housing if needed, while the candidate settles in.
o Competitive salary range: EUR4000-5000 per month, based on qualifications.
o Immediate start is preferred, but there is flexibility for the right candidate.
